Saying goodbye to Comfort - help with funeral expenses
After the sudden passing of Comfort, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Comfort, my mother, passed away on 18 February after a sudden heart attack. She was 84 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $600 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 March.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Comfort to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $600 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $410
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $110
• Transport of the deceased: $50
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

is there a list of costs somewhere? Just curious how it adds up for Obiageli.
Sure. The biggest one is funeral home services and casket, $410. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
Wishing you peace, Obiageli. Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected. All the best.
You're not alone, Obiageli. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like
Thinking of you and your family, Obiageli. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. Take care.
