Camille, my mother, passed away on 13 September after a road accident. She was 41 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 2 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Camille to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank. Where the $1,050 goes: • Transport of the deceased: $55 • Funeral home services and casket: $650 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $345 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
