Brian, my father, passed away on 28 October after a road accident. He was 36 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $4,250 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 November.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Brian to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Limerick hospice.
Where the $4,250 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,850
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,900
• Transport of the deceased: $140
• Memorial gathering for the family: $360
