Saying goodbye to Birgitta - help with funeral expenses
Birgitta passed away on 2 June; we're raising $2,650 for a respectful funeral in Uppsala.

Birgitta, my sister, passed away on 2 June after a sudden heart attack. She was 41 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,650 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 14 June.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Birgitta to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.

• Funeral home services and casket: $1,350
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $790
• Transport of the deceased: $260
• Memorial gathering for the family: $250
