Saying goodbye to Bappy - help with funeral expenses
Bappy passed away on 8 August; we're raising $500 for a respectful funeral in Savar.

Bappy, my husband, passed away on 8 August after a short illness. He was 44 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $500 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 23 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Bappy to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to the Savar hospice.

• Memorial gathering for the family: $25
• Transport of the deceased: $15
• Funeral home services and casket: $460
