Saying goodbye to Axel - help with funeral expenses
Axel lost his grandfather suddenly and the family can't cover funeral and burial costs of $2,000.

Axel, my grandfather, passed away on 26 June after complications from pneumonia. He was 90 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,000 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 8 July.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Axel to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Memorial gathering for the family: $350
• Transport of the deceased: $440
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,210
