Asma, my sister, passed away on 10 September after a short illness. She was 30 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $2,850 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 25 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Asma to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt.
Where the $2,850 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $1,150
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $1,200
• Transport of the deceased: $190
• Memorial gathering for the family: $310
