Anan, my grandfather, passed away on 24 September after a sudden heart attack. He was 54 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance. The funeral home has given us a quote of $1,050 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 5 October. I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Anan to have a dignified farewell. Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers. The funds will be paid directly to the funeral home, and I'll share the receipt. Where the $1,050 goes: • Funeral home services and casket: $400 • Cemetery plot and burial fees: $430 • Transport of the deceased: $110 • Memorial gathering for the family: $110 Thank you so much.

Updates from Pongsak

  1. Small update. $100 so far, I made the first payment toward cemetery plot and burial fees.

  2. Update from Bang Khen: the first invoice got paid this week. We're at 10% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($100 in total) the plan for cemetery plot and burial fees is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely. - Pongsak

    • thinking of you and your family, Pongsak. I hope things turn around soon. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money. God bless

      • I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Bang Khen.
