Alamin, my uncle, passed away on 11 September after a road accident. He was 26 years old. He was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $400 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 20 September.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Alamin to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a neighborhood youth program.

• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $165
• Funeral home services and casket: $220
• Transport of the deceased: $15
