Saying goodbye to Abigail - help with funeral expenses
After the sudden passing of Abigail, the family is asking for help with the funeral home and burial costs.

Abigail, my grandmother, passed away on 3 August after a sudden heart attack. She was 38 years old. She was the heart of our family and had no savings or life insurance.
The funeral home has given us a quote of $700 and the cemetery needs payment before the burial date of 13 August.
I have already used what I had for the hospital bills. My family is scattered, and many of us are out of work. We want Abigail to have a dignified farewell.
Any help at all means a lot, and so do your prayers.
Anything left over after the funeral will be donated to a local food bank.
Where the $700 goes:
• Funeral home services and casket: $360
• Cemetery plot and burial fees: $260
• Transport of the deceased: $50
• Memorial gathering for the family: $30
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.

How is Akua doing now?
hope it all works out. Your post was clear and honest. Greetings from Ankara.
Stay strong, Akua. Shared this with my family. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money.
Is there anything that isn't money that would help Akua?
Thank you. If you're in Tema I'll say if something practical comes up. For now sharing this is great. I'll keep the page updated.
Wishing you peace. Looking forward to the next update. God bless
Hope things get better soon. Your post was clear and honest. All the best.
hope it all works out, Akua. Hope you get there. The breakdown of costs made it easy to trust. Take care.
Good luck, Akua. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. After 10 years in nursing I know how hard it's to ask for anything. God bless.
