Save Ziggy: Walker can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Ziggy needs emergency surgery - a $1,550 bill the family can't cover.

Ziggy is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 29 June we rushed to San Jose Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $370 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Jose Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $600
• Emergency surgery: $690
Thanks for reading all this.

keep going. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. My daughter saw me on my phone and now she wants to give her pocket money!
Wishing you peace, Walker. Hope you get there. Wish I lived closer to Lagos so I could bring a meal.
best of luck. Give Ziggy a hug from me. I have a 9 year old who wants to send good wishes too.
