Save Ziggy: Siyabonga can't afford the emergency vet
Ziggy, Siyabonga's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for a broken leg after a road accident costing $350.

Ziggy is my senior cat of nine years. On 13 August we rushed to the Ekurhuleni Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $70 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Ekurhuleni Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $65
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
• Emergency surgery: $205
Thanks for being kind about this.
