Save Ziggy: Silvia can't afford the emergency vet
A rabbit named Ziggy needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $350 bill the family can't cover.

Ziggy is my rabbit of nine years. On 13 April we rushed to Cali Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond July.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Cali Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $350 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $50
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $80
• Emergency surgery: $220
I'll keep this page updated with receipts as things happen.
