Save Ziggy: Burak can't afford the emergency vet
Ziggy, Burak's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $2,600.

Ziggy is my senior cat of six years. On 11 December we rushed to Berlin Veterinary Centre with severe tick fever. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,600.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond February.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Berlin Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,800
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $450
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130

Sure. The biggest one is emergency surgery, $1,800. The rest is in the list at the bottom of the post and I'll upload receipts as I pay each one. Thanks for looking so closely.
