Ziggy is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 9 July we rushed to the Salerno Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $1,150.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $270 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Salerno Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,150 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $670
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $210
• Medication and follow-up visits: $100
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
