Save Ziggy: Aisha can't afford the emergency vet

Ziggy is my dog of six years. On 10 August we rushed to the Rotterdam Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550.
They have stabilized Ziggy, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Ziggy is more than a pet - Ziggy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Rotterdam Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ziggy's recovery.
Where the $1,550 goes:
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Emergency surgery: $1,050
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280

Hope things get better soon. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Don't lose heart. A few weeks ago I was in a hole too and it changed faster than I expected.
