Save Willow: Stephanie can't afford the emergency vet

Willow is my tabby kitten of thirteen years. On 14 August we rushed to the Bakersfield Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $3,050.
They have stabilized Willow, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Willow is more than a pet - Willow is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $165 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Bakersfield Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $2,100
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $540
• Medication and follow-up visits: $130
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
