Save Tucker: Maria can't afford the emergency vet
Tucker, Maria's rabbit, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $2,600.
🇨🇦 Canada1,494 views
Tucker is my rabbit of three years. On 16 February we rushed to Mississauga Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,600.
They have stabilized Tucker, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Tucker is more than a pet - Tucker is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $120 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Mississauga Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,600 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,550
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $640
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $170
Thanks for being kind about this.

Take care. I've been in a tough spot myself and it does get easier. I hope April is when things finally get easier.
