Save Teddy: Wekesa can't afford the emergency vet
Teddy, Wekesa's rescue greyhound, needs urgent treatment for kidney failure costing $300.

Teddy is my rescue greyhound of eleven years. On 23 August we rushed to Entebbe Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $300.
They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Entebbe Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Teddy's recovery.
Where the $300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $130
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $85
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
