Save Teddy: Halima can't afford the emergency vet
Teddy, Halima's cat, needs urgent treatment for severe tick fever costing $200.

Teddy is my cat of three years. On 18 September we rushed to the Nairobi Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $200.
They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $35 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Nairobi Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $200 goes:
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $120
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
Thank you for reading my story.

Sending good thoughts, Halima. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. Take care.
