Teddy is my German shepherd of three years. On 30 July we rushed to the Kumasi Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350. They have stabilized Teddy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Teddy is more than a pet - Teddy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $55 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Kumasi Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Teddy's recovery. Where the $350 goes: • Hospitalization (2 nights): $50 • Emergency surgery: $260 • Medication and follow-up visits: $40 I'll pay this kindness forward the moment I'm able to.
