Save Sunny: Antônia can't afford the emergency vet
Please help Antônia pay for Sunny's emergency treatment at the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic.
🇧🇷 Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil500 views
Sunny is my three-legged dog of six years. On 19 August we rushed to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $550.
They have stabilized Sunny, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Sunny is more than a pet - Sunny is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $80 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Duque de Caxias Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Sunny's recovery.
Where the $550 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $300
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $160
• Medication and follow-up visits: $45
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $45
Thank you for reading my story.

So sorry you're going through this. Poor Sunny, hope they feel better soon. I went through something like this 14 years ago and strangers helped me out. Greetings from Coimbatore
Sending strength, Antônia. Give Sunny a hug from me. Sent it to 4 people at work. Take care.
Sending good thoughts, Antônia. Shared it with a few friends.
