Save Simba: Gemma can't afford the emergency vet
Please help Gemma pay for Simba's emergency treatment at Rochester Animal Hospital.
🇺🇸 Rochester, New York, United States214 views
Simba is my German shepherd of three years. On 5 November we rushed to Rochester Animal Hospital with severe tick fever. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $900.
They have stabilized Simba, but the treatment can't wait beyond January.
Simba is more than a pet - Simba is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Rochester Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Simba's recovery.
Where the $900 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $440
• Medication and follow-up visits: $320
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $140
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Thanks for sharing this, Gemma. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. We're a small family in Istanbul but we're thinking of you
