Save Rosie: Andrea can't afford the emergency vet
A senior cat named Rosie needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,750 bill the family cannot cover.
🇺🇸 Texas, United States1,706 views
Rosie is my senior cat of two years. On 30 August we rushed to San Antonio Veterinary Centre with a ruptured cruciate ligament. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,750.
They have stabilized Rosie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Rosie is more than a pet - Rosie walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $230 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Antonio Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,750 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,000
• Medication and follow-up visits: $160
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $590
Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure.

Shared it with a few friends. Don't be hard on yourself for asking. Thinking of San Antonio.
Thanks for sharing this, Andrea. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. I have a 17 year old who wants to send good wishes too. God bless.
