Save Rocky: Theodore can't afford the emergency vet

Rocky is my senior cat of eleven years. On 20 September we rushed to the Peoria Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,800.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $145 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Peoria Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.

• Hospitalization (3 nights): $540
• Medication and follow-up visits: $120
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
