Save Rocky: Sharon can't afford the emergency vet
A three-legged dog named Rocky needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $2,700 bill the family cannot cover.

Rocky is my three-legged dog of thirteen years. On 3 March we rushed to the Dallas Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $220 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Dallas Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $260
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $590
