Save Rocky: Samuel can't afford the emergency vet
A rabbit named Rocky needs orthopedic surgery - a $2,450 bill the family can't cover.
🇺🇸 United States873 views
Rocky is my rabbit of nine years. On 14 February we rushed to the Rochester Emergency Vet Clinic with a tumor on the spleen. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,450.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $200 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Rochester Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Rocky's recovery.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $350
Thanks for being kind about this.
