Save Rocky: Marilyn can't afford the emergency vet
Rocky, Marilyn's tabby kitten, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $2,000.

Rocky is my tabby kitten of three years. On 23 July we rushed to the Dundee Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,000.
They have stabilized Rocky, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Rocky is more than a pet - Rocky got me through my hardest year. I have already put $300 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Dundee Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,000 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $910
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $580
• Medication and follow-up visits: $230
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
I never thought I'd be the one asking, and I'm grateful for every bit of support.
Updates from Marilyn
Thank you all. We're at 3% now ($51). I'm honestly stunned. I made the first payment toward medication and follow-up visits.
