Save Poppy: Serenity can't afford the emergency vet

Poppy is my dog of eleven years. On 16 June we rushed to the Los Angeles Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,750. They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond August. Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $370 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Los Angeles Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,750 goes: • Emergency surgery: $830 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $600 • Medication and follow-up visits: $190 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130 Thank you so much.
