Save Poppy: Heather can't afford the emergency vet
A tabby kitten named Poppy needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $2,050 bill the family can't cover.

Poppy is my tabby kitten of six years. On 31 December we rushed to the Reading Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,050.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond April.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy got me through my hardest year. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Reading Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Poppy's recovery.
Where the $2,050 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $710
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $730
• Medication and follow-up visits: $230
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $380
Thank you for reading my story.

Everyone deserves a bit of help sometimes. My neighbor in Johannesburg donated after I showed her your page. God bless.
Give Poppy a hug from me. We're a small family in Pattaya but we're thinking of you
Hope things get better soon, Heather. Looking forward to the next update. Put this on a community board in Strasbourg this morning. God bless
