Save Poppy: Esperanza can't afford the emergency vet
Poppy, Esperanza's cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,200.

Poppy is my cat of nine years. On 13 September we rushed to Los Angeles Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $2,200.
They have stabilized Poppy, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Poppy is more than a pet - Poppy walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $330 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Los Angeles Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,200 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,300
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $420
• Medication and follow-up visits: $250
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
