Save Pixel: Salim can't afford the emergency vet
Pixel, Salim's cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $400.

Pixel is my cat of two years. On 6 February we rushed to the Luxor Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $400.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond May.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $40 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Luxor Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $400 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $280
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $40
• Medication and follow-up visits: $40
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $40
You're what makes this possible, and I'll never forget it.
