Save Pixel: Mónica can't afford the emergency vet

Please help Mónica pay for Pixel's emergency treatment at Springfield Veterinary Centre.

Springfield
Pixel is my rabbit of nine years. On 8 September we rushed to Springfield Veterinary Centre with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,750. They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Springfield Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,750 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,850 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $480 • Medication and follow-up visits: $120 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $300 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

Updates from Mónica

  1. Good news. Because of your gifts ($587 in total) I met with the vet clinic and confirmed the amounts. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
