Save Pixel: Jacques can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Pixel needs a hospital stay and surgery - a $500 bill the family can't cover.

Pixel is my rescue greyhound of two years. On 2 August we rushed to the Johannesburg Emergency Vet Clinic with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $500.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $50 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to the Johannesburg Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $500 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $240
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $200
• Medication and follow-up visits: $30
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
Glad we found this place.

Sending strength. Hope this works out for you. We're a small family in Pune but we're thinking of you. Thinking of Johannesburg.
