Save Pixel: Gabriella can't afford the emergency vet
Pixel, Gabriella's German shepherd, needs urgent treatment for bloat costing $2,300.

Pixel is my German shepherd of two years. On 12 June we rushed to the Toronto Emergency Vet Clinic with bloat. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,300.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel got me through my hardest year. I have already put $260 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Toronto Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,300 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,450
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $490
• Medication and follow-up visits: $360
Thanks for being kind about this.
Updates from Gabriella
Thank you all. We're at 7% now ($171). I'm honestly stunned. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit.
Update from Toronto: the plan for emergency surgery is now scheduled. We're at 4% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.
