Save Pixel: Fiifi can't afford the emergency vet
Pixel, Fiifi's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $350.
🇬🇭 Ghana1,377 views
Pixel is my senior cat of eleven years. On 19 August we rushed to Accra Veterinary Centre with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $350.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Accra Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pixel's recovery.
Where the $350 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $210
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $85
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $30
Glad we found this place.
