Pixel is my senior cat of eleven years. On 2 August we rushed to Brandon Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,700.
They have stabilized Pixel, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Pixel is more than a pet - Pixel walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $240 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Brandon Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,700 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $800
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $430
• Medication and follow-up visits: $240
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $230
