Alcalá de Henares
Pepper is my German shepherd of nine years. On 3 May we rushed to Alcalá de Henares Animal Hospital with kidney failure. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $1,600. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond July. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper got me through my hardest year. I have already put $210 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Alcalá de Henares Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $1,600 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $175 • Emergency surgery: $1,200 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $225 Please ask me anything in the questions section. I'll answer honestly and quickly.

  • Stay strong, Leonardo. Shared it with a few friends. My late mom used to say help given quietly counts double.

    • Best of luck, Leonardo. Hope the recovery goes smoothly. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like.
