Save Pepper: Gerardo can't afford the emergency vet
Please help Gerardo pay for Pepper's emergency treatment at Oakland Animal Hospital.
Anywhere in the world709 views
Pepper is my three-legged dog of eleven years. On 22 May we rushed to Oakland Animal Hospital with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $3,000.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond August.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $105 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
Funds will be paid straight to Oakland Animal Hospital and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery.
Where the $3,000 goes:
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $760
• Medication and follow-up visits: $125
• Emergency surgery: $2,115
If you're reading this, thank you.
