Pepper is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 15 August we rushed to Jaipur Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $400. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $20 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Jaipur Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery. Where the $400 goes: • Emergency surgery: $340 • Medication and follow-up visits: $30 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $30 Thank you for reading my story.
