Pepper is my rabbit of eleven years. On 19 July we rushed to the Sacramento Emergency Vet Clinic with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $1,550. They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to the Sacramento Emergency Vet Clinic and I'll share the invoice and an update on Pepper's recovery. Where the $1,550 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $250 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $400 • Emergency surgery: $900 Every share and every dollar helps.
