Save Pepper: Anna can't afford the emergency vet
Pepper, Anna's senior cat, needs urgent treatment for pyometra costing $2,700.

Pepper is my senior cat of nine years. On 24 August we rushed to the Bronx Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $2,700.
They have stabilized Pepper, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Pepper is more than a pet - Pepper walks my kids to the bus stop every morning. I have already put $350 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Bronx Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,700 goes:
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $290
• Emergency surgery: $1,850
• Hospitalization (3 nights): $560
