Save Oscar: Tejas can't afford the emergency vet

Oscar is my German shepherd of nine years. On 19 September we rushed to Kanpur Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $450.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond December.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $60 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Kanpur Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals.

• Emergency surgery: $320
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $95
• Medication and follow-up visits: $25
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $10
