Save Oscar: Sofía can't afford the emergency vet
A rescue greyhound named Oscar needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $1,800 bill the family can't cover.

Oscar is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 6 July we rushed to the Móstoles Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $1,800.
They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond October.
Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is the reason I get out of bed. I have already put $150 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Móstoles Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $1,800 goes:
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $380
• Emergency surgery: $1,250
• Medication and follow-up visits: $170
Thank you so much.
- Sofía

rooting for you. Give Oscar a hug from me. Love from San Diego.
Sending love. This could happen to any of us. I went through something like this 8 years ago and strangers helped me out. Thinking of Móstoles.
Thinking of you and your family, Sofía. Looking forward to the next update. I have a 15 year old who wants to send good wishes too. Take care.
