Oscar is my rescue greyhound of thirteen years. On 7 November we rushed to the Phoenix Emergency Vet Clinic with a foreign object blocking the intestines. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,400. They have stabilized Oscar, but the treatment can't wait beyond February. Oscar is more than a pet - Oscar is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $290 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Phoenix Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
