Ollie is my German shepherd of three years. On 2 September we rushed to Port Harcourt Veterinary Centre with kidney failure. The vet recommends orthopedic surgery, and the estimate came to $100. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond October. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie got me through my hardest year. I have already put $45 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Port Harcourt Veterinary Centre's charity fund for other animals. Where the $100 goes: • Medication and follow-up visits: $50 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $35 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $15 If you can't give, please share this page. It does reach people. - Lanre

    • Rooting for you, Lanre. We've got a rescue too so I know how much they mean. We had a similar scare last year, I know what it feels like. All the best.

      • Thinking of you and your family, Lanre. Reading this made my day a bit heavier but I'm glad I did. We lost years of savings to something like this so I get it. Blessings.
