Ollie is my rescue greyhound of six years. On 23 August we rushed to Aurangabad Veterinary Centre with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $300. They have stabilized Ollie, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Ollie is more than a pet - Ollie is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $25 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. Funds will be paid straight to Aurangabad Veterinary Centre and I'll share the invoice and an update on Ollie's recovery. Where the $300 goes: • Emergency surgery: $180 • Hospitalization (3 nights): $65 • Medication and follow-up visits: $20 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $35 Ask me anything below before you decide. I'd rather you were sure. - Aditi

Updates from Aditi

  1. Update from Aurangabad: we've started the first stage. We're at 55% of the goal. Thank you for believing in us.

  2. We're at 65% thanks to 8 of you. we've booked the dates and paid the deposit. More news soon.

  3. Good news. Because of your gifts ($50 in total) the plan for medication and follow-up visits is now scheduled. Still a way to go but it feels less lonely.
