Save Nala: Luna can't afford the emergency vet
A dog named Nala needs an operation to remove the blockage - a $3,250 bill the family can't cover.

Nala is my dog of three years. On 16 July we rushed to the Columbus Emergency Vet Clinic with severe tick fever. The vet recommends an operation to remove the blockage, and the estimate came to $3,250.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond November.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $280 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Columbus Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $3,250 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $2,200
• Hospitalization (4 nights): $550
• Medication and follow-up visits: $220
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $280
