Save Nala: Ludwig can't afford the emergency vet
A rabbit named Nala needs emergency surgery - a $2,450 bill the family can't cover.

Nala is my rabbit of thirteen years. On 15 July we rushed to the Augsburg Emergency Vet Clinic with pyometra. The vet recommends emergency surgery, and the estimate came to $2,450.
They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond September.
Nala is more than a pet - Nala is a retired therapy animal who has comforted dozens of patients. I have already put $180 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan.
Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back.
If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to the Augsburg Emergency Vet Clinic's charity fund for other animals.
Where the $2,450 goes:
• Emergency surgery: $1,650
• Hospitalization (2 nights): $410
• Medication and follow-up visits: $260
• Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $130
