Nala is my German shepherd of nine years. On 29 July we rushed to San Diego Animal Hospital with a broken leg after a road accident. The vet recommends a hospital stay and surgery, and the estimate came to $2,500. They have stabilized Nala, but the treatment can't wait beyond November. Nala is more than a pet - Nala got me through my hardest year. I have already put $140 toward the bills and asked for a payment plan. Whatever I can't raise, I'll repay to anyone who needs it back. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to San Diego Animal Hospital's charity fund for other animals. Where the $2,500 goes: • Emergency surgery: $1,500 • Hospitalization (2 nights): $310 • Medication and follow-up visits: $300 • Diagnostics (X-ray, bloodwork): $390 Please ask me anything in the questions section.
